A: Yes, Peninsula Holistics Full Spectrum Hemp Extract derived from the hemp plant, containing less than 0.3%THC, is legal in all 50 states thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill.
Q: How will Peninsula Holistics Full Spectrum Hemp Extract interact with my other medicine?
A: Peninsula Holistics Full Spectrum Hemp Extract is metabolized by the cytochrome p-450 enzyme system and may interact with prescription drugs. It is important to talk to your health care providers about properly monitoring your prescription medications and supplements.
Q: How much Peninsula Holistics Full Spectrum Hemp Extract do I take?
A: Everyone’s endocannabinoid system is different, so it is important to find the correct dosage amount for your needs. One-half to one dropperful (0.5-1 ml) administered under the tongue twice daily provides relief for a wide range of symptoms for most adult patients. However, individual needs vary greatly; contact  patientservices@peninsulamd.com for further guidance and assistance in creating a plan tailored to your needs.
Q: Do you have advice for a first-time user?
A: Place the drops under your tongue and hold for 30-60 seconds before swallowing. Consistency and daily dosing are the key. We believe starting low and going slow is the most efficient path to maximum effectiveness. We encourage the use of a dosing journal to track your progress. Cannabinoid based therapy is not a cure-all; however, through an interdisciplinary approach to wellness, we are helping patients achieve their health goals.
Q: Does Peninsula Wellness accept my insurance?
A: No, unfortunately, we are unable to accept insurance payments of any kind.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: Please see our Refunds & Returns section for our refund policy.
Q: Will use of Peninsula Holistics Full Spectrum Extract result in a positive drug screen?
A: Although not likely, Full Spectrum products may result in a positive drug screen for THC when used in high doses for long periods of time. We are looking to offer broad spectrum products that are 100% THC-free in the near future.
Q: Will I feel intoxicated while using Peninsula Holistics Full Spectrum Hemp Extract?
A: Although hemp extract is psycho-active, it is non-intoxicating.  While it may help you feel more relaxed and less anxious, it will not cause euphoria traditionally associated with THC.
A: Peninsula Holistics Full Spectrum Hemp Extract has successfully been implemented into wellness plans for people of all ages. We recommend medical supervision for children, women who are pregnant and/or lactating, the elderly and those with comprehensive medication lists or severe medical conditions.
Q: Will taking Peninsula Holistics Full Spectrum Hemp Extract impact my employment?
A: Although unlikely, full spectrum hemp extract may result in a positive drug screen. For those with concerns about employment, we recommend a “broad spectrum” product, as they are 100% THC free. No legal protection is offered with the use of legal hemp products. We suggest contacting your Human Resources Department about their individual policies pertaining to the use of hemp-based products.
Q: What could happen if I take a large amount of full spectrum hemp extract?
A: Large amounts of full spectrum hemp extract do not appear to be toxic. However, keep in mind that higher doses do not equate to a more rapid or more complete effect.

Q: What is the benefit of a THC and Full Spectrum Hemp Extract regimen & what is the entourage effect?
A: The theory that all the compounds found in cannabis work better when used together is known as the entourage effect. Adding THC, even in very small amounts, to a full hemp extract regimen may enhance the therapeutic effects of each compound involved. If you have not found relief using hemp products, you may be an appropriate candidate for the Maryland Medical Cannabis program. Contact patientservices@peninsulamd.com for more information.
Q: What are the differences between our product and other products on the market?
A: We know what is in our product. Our products are natural, pesticide-free, lab tested and produced locally in Cambridge, Maryland. We use plant extracts sourced directly from regulated US farms. Our tincture contains only two ingredients: MCT oil and full spectrum hemp extract. Our products are batch tested by an accredited testing laboratory. This stringent testing assures our product’s potency and purity. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy with respect to pesticides, mycotoxins, heavy metals, residual solvents, and microbial contaminants.
What results can I expect in combination with a healthy lifestyle?
A: Hemp Extract has been successfully implemented into wellness plans to improve mental well-being, physical well-being, a decrease in body-wide inflammation and quality of sleep. We offer packages tailored to mental health, physical health, and sleep; visit our retail & online stores for more information!
